Educational Qualifications

 After passing the twelfth examination with a science subject, one can enrol in a two-year D-Pharma course or a four-year B-Pharma course.  Many institutes / colleges / universities located in different parts of the country and all around the world apart from offering undergraduate courses, also offer M Pharma courses.  Earlier in India, pharmaceutical studies were done only in a few institutions, but to meet the demand of the fast growing market and trend people, now such courses have started in many institutes.  Students can now do diplomas directly after twelfth.  Some colleges offer fulltime courses in pharmacy.  For specialization in pharma research, one can get admission in institutions like NIPER i.e. National Institute of Pharma Education and Research.  Along with this, courses like PG Diploma in Pharmaceutical and Health Care Marketing, Diploma in Pharma Marketing, Advance Diploma in Pharma Marketing and PG Diploma in Pharma Marketing are also being conducted.  The duration of these courses is between six months to one year.  For admission in these courses, the minimum qualification of the candidate has been determined as BSci, BPharma or DPharma.
