India, an emerging market for all types of industries. But recently it has been effected by the outbreak of Corona virus. To emerge from this crisis many Indian pharmaceutical industries are working with Government authorities to build effective vaccination for COVID-19.  

After the spread of COVID-19 across the world, the surge of vaccination is also increased all round the world. In India, many pharmaceutical industries are lined up with government authorities and scientists to built the vaccination platform in the country. Many pharmaceutical brands like Sun Pharma, Auro Vaccines, Gennova

Biopharmaceuticals and many more are in queue for their trail vaccines along with coordination of Department of Biotechnology. All these machinery are helping in the fast development of vaccines, providing modular structure as vaccine platforms that could be applied on infectious diseases.

Viruses like Ebola and chikungunya are being treated with vaccines like VesiculiVax manufactured by Auro Vaccines a US subsidiary profectus biosciences. These vaccines develop rapid antibodies in the human boday againt the virus. As per company's website the prototype vaccine has demonstrated single-dose protection in monkeys against a lethal challenge with Ebola and Marburg viruses, in studies conducted by a team from the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.

On the other hand Gennova is part of Emcure Pharma, a large Indian company that manufactures antiretroviral and biosimilar drugs.The company has vaccines under development for malaria, TB and flu, now they are working with Department of Biotechnology to develop vaccine for COVID-19.Many other reputed Indian pharmaceutical organisation that are working on vaccines for Covid-19 are Serum Institute of India, Biological E, Zydus Cadila and Bharat Biotech.

During the last month of march, the Department of Biotechnology granted funds to 16 companies to develop medicine, vaccines for Covid-19. Among those, Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila is working on a DNA vaccine, while Bharat Biotech is using an inactivated rabies vector platform against the virus. The phase-III human trial of the recombinant BCG vaccine will be scaled up with funding to Serum Institute of India to see if would work against the coronavirus. The development of a novel vaccine evaluation platform by the National Institute of Immunology to support a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has also got approval for financial support.
